Hi my name is Carley Soderstrom and I am the 3K teacher at Holy Rosary. I currently live in Montfort, but grew up in Mineral Point. I have been married to my husband Dalton for 5 years. We have our dog Remy that is a black lab and is 11 years old. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, UTVing, line dancing and listening to any kind of music. 
   I attended Southwest Tech in 2010 to earn my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and graduated in 2012. I am a registered member of the Wisconsin State Registry with my Preschool Credential as well.
   I’m so glad to be part of the team here at Holy Rosary School in Darlington! I previously taught children ages 2-5 for 8 years, 10 if you include my schooling. Before coming to Holy Rosary I worked with kids that I’ve had since birth but my focus was 2- 3 year olds. Every child in my care I treat as if they are my own. I love all my kiddos!
 

In 3K we try to learn independence, sharing, patience and basic learning skills (Fine/Large Motor). We also include religious activities to make it fun to learn about God. We do circle time where we talk about the days of the week, weather, and our colors, shapes and alphabet. Your child will have a special week where they get to be snack helper, line leader and teacher assistant! Here is our daily routine:

8:30-8:50-Welcome/Calendar Time
8:50-9:15-Bathroom/Snack 
9:15-9:30-Story 
9:30-10:00-Art Time
10:00-10:15-Music/Movement
10:15-10:30-Recess
10:30-11:15-Centers 
11:15-Pack-up
After Morning Class ends at 11:15 Extended Care hours begin.
